3. 星期，月份，季节，三餐，球类，棋类前不用冠词
例子：on Monday，in June，in summer，have breakfast，play badminton，play chess
4. 复数名词表示一类人或事物时不用冠词
例子：They are nurses. 她们是护士。
5. 某些固定短语前无冠词
例子：on foot，by bike，at night，at home

a/an She's a doctor
a/an 用未表示某物是什么，或某人做什么工作，
A pony is a smail horse. 矮种马是一种小体形的马，
Canada is a big country, 加拿大是一个很大的国家。
My sister is an electrician. 我姐姐是一名电工。
注意：a/an 不能用在复数名词前面。
Ponies are small horses. 矮柠马是小体形的马.(不说a small horse)
a/an:描写人物 She's got a nice smile
a/an 常用于描述。
She's got a quiet voice 她说话很轻柔。(不说。。The quiet voice)
He’s got a friendly face 他长着一张友善的面孔。
注意：a/an 不能用在复数名词(plural)或不可数名词前面。
She's got blue eyes, 她长着一双蓝眼晴。(不说。。A blue eyes. )
Hes got long hair, 他留着长发。(不说。。A long hair)
表示泛指时不用 the People are funny.
the 通常不用来表示泛指的人或物。the 不表示“所有、全部”，而表示装摘的人或事。

Ilike music.我喜欢音乐。
Sugar is fattening.糖容易使人发胖.
She's interested in dogs and horses.
她对狗和马感兴趣。

定冠词the的用法：

表示上文中所提到过的人或物。
eg. I have two children, a boy and a girl. The boy’s name is Mark. The girl’s name is Penny.

特指某(些)人或物。
eg. The girl in a red dress comes from America.

指说话人和听话人都熟悉的人或物。
eg. My shoes are under the bed.

用在形容最高级和部分比较级前，及形容词only，very，same等前面。
eg. That's the very thing I've been looking for.　那正是我要找的东西。
Tom is the taller of the two boys. 汤姆是两个男生中较高的那个。
